In 2019, March was designated “Irish American Heritage Month” in Suffolk County, giving legislators the opportunity to recognize an Irish American residing in their district as an Irish American of Distinction.
“When selecting this year’s honoree Bill Doyle was an obvious choice,” said Legislator Mazzarella. “It is no secret that Bill’s involvement in our community has had a significant impact, especially through his charitable work. Bill is 100% Irish and is extremely proud of his Irish heritage.”
