Smoke Shack BBQ Truck Finds A Permanent Home In Mastic Beach
The Center Moriches barbecue truck is moving into a brick-and-mortar space in Mastic Beach, gearing up for a spring opening.
MASTIC BEACH, NY—Smoke Shack BBQ has been serving up plates of barbecue sandwiches, burgers, wraps and nachos from a food truck in Center Moriches, but is moving to a new permanent location. The owners are working on a new storefront at 490 Mastic Rd. in Mastic Beach, opening sometime this spring.
Owners Brandon and Michael Cahill told Patch that the location made sense, since Mastic Beach is home for the two. They attended high school across the street at William Floyd High, and grew up four blocks from the new spot, they said.
The menu will carry over from the food truck, the Cahills said, but with some new items like ribs, wings and brisket.

They are aiming for a March or April opening date.
