Teen Girl Taken To Hospital After Fight At Home In Mastic Beach: Police

She was evaluated at a local hospital and declined to press any charges, Suffolk police say.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — A teen girl was taken by ambulance to a local hospital after returning from a party where a fight broke out between multiple teenagers at a Mastic Beach home, a Suffolk police spokesperson said Thursday.

The "altercation," which turned physical, broke out at the Biltmore Drive home and the girl, as well as a male, left the party and went to a home in Farmingville where police were called at about 10:20 p.m., according to police.

She was taken by ambulance to the hospital and evaluated, police said.

It is not clear if she was injured.

When detectives responded to the hospital to interview her and her companion, they both declined to press any charges, according to police.
