William Floyd BOE Recognizes Organizers Of Scholarship Golf Tournament

The yearly charity event has raised $560,000 in student scholarships during its first 23 years.

The William Floyd Board of Education recently honored Anthony Liberti, Anthony Alfano and Anthony Coraci of Century 21 Cor-Ace Realty, the driving forces behind the William Floyd Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament, a yearly charity event that has raised $560,000 in student scholarships during its first 23 years since its inception. This year’s tournament, the 24th in its history, was held in honor of former longtime Board of Education vice president and tournament coordinator, Jeananne Dawson, and will move the grand total of student scholarships closer to $600,000.

To thank them for their hard work and generosity in organizing this event, the Board of Education presented a plaque to Anthony Alfano, Anthony Liberti and Anthony Coraci, which states, “In grateful appreciation for your generosity toward the students of the William Floyd School District. Your efforts have helped numerous students pursue their dreams for a successful future!” Anthony Alfano along with Anthony and Barbara Liberti, attended the meeting and accepted a plaque on behalf of Century 21 Cor-Ace Realty.
