Uniqlo Set to Reopen SoHo Flagship Store Labor Day Weekend
The store had been undergoing a total remodel since July.
SOHO, NY — Customers desperate to find breathable T-shirts and Heattech pullovers can now return to the city's flagship Uniqlo store on Sept. 2.
The company announced in a press release Wednesday they would be unveiling the redesigned store on Friday. The clothing outlet began its remodel in July, and has been fully closed for much of August. The Japanese clothing retailer opened the store in 2006, its fourth store in the United States, but considered the flagship by the company.
They've since opened three more locations in the city, including two in Manhattan on Fifth Avenue near 53rd Street in Midtown and another on West 34th Street. They also opened a location in the Atlantic Terminal Mall in Brooklyn. Uniqlo closed its store in the Staten Island Mall in June.

There was also briefly a pop-up Uniqlo store in Union Square in October 2013.
The new SoHo store has a theme, "A New Tokyo in SoHo," with multiple "shop in shop" locations. They will also be celebrating with a handful of giveaways. The first 100 customers in the door each day during the Labor Day weekend will receive a mystery gift card worth up to $100. A whole host of items will also be $10 off to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the location.
