Woman Steals Rolex From Her Date After He Falls Asleep: Police

SOHO, NY — A woman stole a Rolex watch from her date after he fell asleep in a high-end Soho hotel, according to police.

Authorities say the woman and her date, a 26-year-old man, were at the Dream Downton hotel in Chelsea early in the morning on Oct 31. The two left the hotel at about 3:30 a.m., and headed back to the man's hotel room at the swanky 11 Howard hotel in Soho, located at 11 Howard St.

When the man woke up later in the morning, his date and his Rolex were both gone.

Police released a photo of the woman on Thursday and are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating her.
