Other facts

Andrew is an attorney and has been practicing law for 17 years. He started his own law practice 5 years ago in Patterson, NY. Andrew has been married to Amy for 10 years, has lived in Patterson for 9 ½ years and has two boys. Andrew’s oldest (9) is finishing third grade and entering fourth grade at Matthew Paterson Elementary School (Carmel School District) in the fall. His youngest (4) will be starting kindergarten in the fall, also at Mathew Paterson Elementary School. Amy is a Social Studies teacher at Irvington High School in Westchester County. Andrew decided to run for office because he feels the needs of the middle class are not being met. Andrew is concerned that our elected officials have not been responsive to the challenges of this difficult economy and he worries that the middle class cannot thrive and grow unless they are a priority in Albany. Andrew volunteers with Putnam County Health Department’s Medical Reserve Corps, a group of citizen volunteers set to mobilize in the event of a large-scale emergency. He coaches a Patterson Little League team , organizes a monthly food drive to the Montrose VA Hospital’s Food Pantry, is training to swim across the Hudson River, from Newburgh to Beacon, on July 21st to support the Riverpool charity, is an active Freemason and loves to hike, backpack and camp throughout the Hudson Valley.
