Brewster Native Inducted Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society

SPRINGFIELD, MA - Neil Williams, of Brewster, NY, was welcomed into Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society on March 1, at the Western New England University chapter's annual induction ceremony. Williams, who is majoring in Sport Management, is a member of the Soccer team at Western New England University.

As a component of the CHAMPS/Life Skills program to foster athletic excellence, the Athletic Department annually inducts deserving student-athletes in the National Student Athlete Honor Society. Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes student-athletes who have completed five semesters of higher education, have earned a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.4, and who exhibit distinguished character in the community.

Western New England University has a total of 17 honor societies on campus. More than 600 students were inducted into these organizations in the Spring 2016 semester.
