About a dozen current and former service members from the Brewster area visited C.V. Starr Intermediate School Friday morning for a Veterans Day celebration. One of the first items on the agenda was the youngsters' rendition of the National Anthem.
The veterans gathered with a group of students in the main office and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. The children then sang the anthem, as the veterans saluted.
Veterans Day is Monday (Nov. 11).
