Putnam County officials formally fired Arben Group LLC in late April because the county said there was a failure to meet its obligations.

The project was supposed to rebuild three bridges and construct culverts on a section of Peekskill Hollow Road.

Officials said the initial completion date was Aug. 4, 2022, but the project was less than 25 percent finished.
