Carmel Town Board Member Continues Grassroots Campaign
Suzi McDonough has maintained that she would run a positive, grassroots campaign with or without committee support.

From The Victory Cup:
Carmel Town Board Member Suzi McDonough has always maintained that she would run a positive, grassroots campaign with or without committee support and regardless of whether the incumbent assemblyman was in the race or not.
In the next few months, McDonough is prepared to knock on thousands of doors and decisively win this Republican Primary in September.

McDonough said, “Last night’s insider convention was just another attempt by party bosses to keep a lid on the status quo. For me, this has always been a door to door, voter to to voter grassroots campaign. Fiercely independent, the insiders and political bosses both here and in Albany know that I cannot be controlled. I am proud to have integrity and real grassroots support. Not being endorsed by proxies and the political machine is fine with me. I am here to serve the people of the 94th District, not the political machine. I look forward to meeting every voter in this district, sharing my pro-life, pro-second amendment and limited government message and winning decisively, and without party boss support, in September.”
Over the next several months, McDonough will also be hosting individual town hall meetings to listen to the specific concerns of voters throughout the district. The dates, times and locations will be finalized within a few weeks.

This is the third round of such listening tours and will allow McDonough to hear from voters firsthand while building awareness of her campaign throughout Westchester and Putnam counties. McDonough will also be hosting a number of low dollar fundraising events including one to be held in the next few weeks. Details will be released in the next few days.
McDonough has lived in Mahopac, a hamlet of Carmel, for more than 50 years. She graduated from Mahopac High School and a few years later married the love of her life, Jimmy McDonough. Together, Suzi and Jimmy owned and operated successful businesses in the Hudson Valley and have five children.
The 94th Assembly District elections will occur in the Fall.
