
<span>At last week's Village Board of Trustees regular meeting, officials accepted the Brewster Police Department's report for April. Here's how the numbers break down:<br></span><br><ul><li>Issued hundreds of tickets: 86 parking, 181 traffic violations and four local ordinance.</li><li>Inspected 47 taxis.</li><li>Made six arrests: one assault, one larceny, two suspended reigstration and two suspended license.</li><li>Made 337 security visits: 141 to the sewer, 120 to the water tank and 76 to the well field.</li><li>Spent 187 hours on foot patrol: 82 on Main Street, 89 at the Brewster Train Station and 16 in residential areas.</li><li>Handled (61) 911 calls—for reports that ranged from reports of a burglary to a brush fire to a suspicious person—and 20 walk-in/pickup complaints.</li></ul>
