Freedom is Never Free, So Breakfast Oughta Be

The folks at Country Kitchen say they "understand the enormous sacrifice" veterans make and want to show their appreciation with "Freedom is Never Free, So Breakfast Oughta Be." From 7 to 11 a.m. on Memorial Day, veterans can enjoy one of six breakfasts (choices range from omelets to waffles to pancakes and more) with coffee and orange juice, all on the house.

Owners Cristine and John McNeill encourage anyone who isn't a veteran to think about either inviting one or stopping by to shake the hand of a person who served.

Note: While non-veteran guests are welcome, the complimentary breakfast extends to veterans only.
