Fireworks Coming: Southeast Celebration Postponed Due To Storms

SOUTHEAST, NY — The annual fireworks show in Southeast will take place Sunday on Independent Way.

"The Fireworks Celebration of America has been rescheduled to Sunday, July 9," the Southeast Fireworks Committee wrote on Facebook.

Use the parking lots in the Highlands Shopping Center. There will be additional parking available down the hill at the Southeast Train Station with trolley service available to the Kohl’s parking lot.

"Please remember this is private property and we are fortunate to use the property with the permission of the owners. Please be considerate of the property. Please do not leave trash behind when you leave. There will be trash bins and a dumpster available," the committee said.
