Flu Shots Still Available in Some Putnam Pharmacies

If you're in need of a flu shot, you may be in luck—that is, if you can get to one of the following stores fast.

Here is what staff members told Patch at about 1:15 p.m. Friday:

• A&P Pharmacy (off Route 22 in Southeast's Lakeview Plaza) still has the vaccine available. No appointment necessary. Without insurance, price is $24.95.
• A&P Pharmacy (on Route 22 in Patterson) still has the vaccine available. No appointment necessary. Without insurance, price is $24.95.
• CVS Pharmacy (on Padanaram Road in Danbury, CT) is out of the vaccine. Staff members hope to have it back in stock by next Friday (Jan. 18). Without insurance, price is $31.99. No appointment necessary.
• Rite Aid (off Route 22 in Southeast's Lakeview Plaza) has three vaccines left. No appointment necessary. Without insurance, price is $29.99. Staff members are unsure if and when they will receive the vaccination again.
• ShopRite of Carmel (on Route 52 in Carmel) is out of the vaccine. They expect to have it back in at some point over the weekend. No appointment necessary. Without insurance, price is $19.99.
