The Get Fit Hudson Valley exercise challenge returns on Saturday, May 14.

The Get Fit Hudson Valley exercise challenge returns on Saturday, May 14, now with more than 60 check-in locations and dozens of prizes for people who log their activity.

For six weeks, Get Fit encourages people to stay in shape and be active. Participants register at GetFitHV.com, perform 30 minutes of any kind of physical activity and log it through the #GetFitHV Twitter hashtag or GetFitHV.com. The more entries participants submit, the better their chances to win fun prizes. Prizes include: an Apple Watch, NatureBox giftcard, NutriBullet Rx and many more.

“It’s a fun way to a healthier you,” said Amy Tourge, supervisor of Northern Dutchess Hospital’s Wellness Center, a new Get Fit check-in location, where participants can log exercise.

Other eligible check-in locations, which span across Dutchess, Ulster and Putnam counties, include the Walkway Over the Hudson, Mohonk Preserve, National Park Service’s Hyde Park trails, Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, Putnam County Trailway, Putnam County Golf Course, Hudson Highlands Gateway Park in Cortlandt, Poughkeepsie CrossFit and Gold’s Gym in LaGrange.
