New Charges For 20YO Driver With Warrants Out In Southeast, Somers
He was driving without a current license in a car with an expired inspection sticker, police said.
SOUTHEAST, NY — An Carmel 20-year-old stopped in Southeast April 26 because he was driving a car with an expired inspection sticker turned out to be unlicensed and have a history in police files.
Christopher Piarulli was found to have warrants from the Putnam County Sheriff and from New York State Police in both East Fishkill and Somers barracks, both for driving while intoxicated.
(The Sheriff's Department warrant had been issued after he refused to pull over for a traffic stop in January and instead fled deputies after a pursuit, police said.)

Piarulli was charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer, a misdemeanor, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and violating numerous other vehicle and traffic laws.
He was taken to the Town of Southeast Court, where he was arraigned on those charges. He was then turned over to troopers from the New York State Police for their warrants, which included one for a DWI charge in Southeast and one for a DWI charge in Somers.
