NYSEG Putnam List: At Least 30,000 Waiting

Power restoration statuses from New York State Electric and Gas for some Southeast residences have changed in the last 12 hours.
The company, which is predicting a lengthy wait for some customers, estimates that about 30,000 Putnam customers are still in the dark as of 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to its website. Based on information listed there, here's how the (rough) numbers break down, about a day and a half after Sandy:
- Carmel: 12,445
- Patterson: 4,135
- Putnam Valley: 5,200
- Town of Southeast: 4,030
