Antonio Rodolfo DiGennaro—known by all as Anthony—of Pawling, died with his family by his side Saturday at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. He was 22 years old.
Anthony was born on June 17, 1990 in Carmel. He was the son of Rosemarie (Cordasci) and the late Aldo DiGennaro. Anthony graduated from Kent High School in Kent, CT in 2008 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in the Bronx.
Anthony loved computers and video games. He loved spending the summers with his family in Southampton. Anthony lived life to the fullest and cherished his family and friends immensely.
In addition to his loving mother Rosemarie, Anthony is survived by his two sisters, Maria DiGennaro and Giovanna DiGennaro, both of Pawling; his devoted girlfriend, Liz; his maternal grandparents, John and Judy Cordasci; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased in life by his father, Aldo DiGennaro, in 2009 and his paternal grandparents, Rodolfo and Maria DiGennaro.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday (May 16) at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Church at 31 East Main Street in Pawling. Interment will be private. Family received friends at Beecher Funeral Home at 1 Putnam Avenue in Brewster on Wednesday.
