Obituary: Brewster Woman Dies at 65

Beecher Funeral Home provided the following information:

Theresa Phyllis Bernardi, age 65, of Brewster, died at home on Tuesday.

Wife of the late Louis Bernardi, Theresa was born Feb. 8, 1947 in Yonkers, NY daughter ofthe late Carmine and Mary (Casertano) Russo. She graduated from Commerce High School in Yonkers in 1962.

On October 19, 1969 she married Louis Bernardi at St. Mary’s Church in Yonkers, NY. She is survived by two children, Gina Di Falco and her husband Gregory of Brewster and Danielle Salvo and her husband David of Brewster; and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Frank Russo.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Beecher Funeral Home (on Putnam Avenue in Brewster).
