Carol J. Humphreys of Cocoa, FL, passed away Tuesday July 11, 2023, in Danbury, CT at the age of 67.

Carol was born January 15, 1956, in Mt. Kisco, NY, daughter of the late William and Shirley (O’Brien) Reed. She graduated from Fox Lane High School in 1973. Carol married George Humphreys on July 14, 1990, at the Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield, CT. They lived in Brookfield and New Milford before moving to FL. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, baking and gardening.

Besides her husband George, Carol is survived by her five children, Michele Nieves and her husband Chris of Patterson, NY, Jon Salvitti and his wife Christy of Sandy Hook, CT, Christian Salvitti and his wife Rhonda of Durham, NC, Jordan and Caitlin Humphreys of Cocoa, FL; brother William Reed and his wife Sharon of Mt. Laurel, NJ; sister Patty Rummelsburg and husband Jeff of Suffern, NY; grandchildren Amber and Nicholas Vane, Ethan and Kadence Salvitti, Dominic and Elisia Velez; niece Alyse Kreig of Bayville, NJ; nephews Michael Reed of Marlton, NJ, Justin Mandaro of Leander, TX, Jason Mandaro of Bloomingdale, NJ.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY.
