Putnam County Land Trust Seeks Board Member Applicants
The Land Trust invites residents to serve on its Board of Trustees, which meets eight times yearly.

From Putnam County Land Trust:
The Putnam County Land Trust is seeking individuals to serve on its Board of Trustees. The current Board consists of men and women from diverse backgrounds who share a commitment to preserving open space within Putnam County. The mission of the Land Trust includes managing the many wonderful properties it owns - for recreation and educating the public about environmental values.
Board members are not expected to be experts about environmental issues. The board's major functions are to establish PCLT's mission, and set policies to carry out to carry out these functions as required by law. The board also secures funds to enable PCLT to meet its budget, and carry out its programs, monitors the use of those funds and provides volunteer leadership for the organization.
