The folks at Putnam Dental Associates on Route 6 in Southeast are giving away a smile makeover.
Putnam Dental and radio station 100.7 WHUD are sponsoring the contest. Submissions—there are about 30 featured on the site so far, and they range from cramped, overlapping bottom teeth to missing incisors—are due by 11:59 p.m. Friday.
"I just want to smile again," one entry reads. "My teeth have looked like this for years and I was traumatized as a kid. Now I'm in my 30s and still won't really smile. It took a lot for me to even take this picture. I cry because of how I look. Please bring back my smile."
The prize covers up to $16,000 of dental services to complete the smile makeover.
Entries, with a photo, story and details on why the person deserves to win, should be submitted here. Emails, with an attached video, to putnamdental@comcast.net, are also welcome.
