The Burger Barn Opens in Somers with Passion and Innovation

Longtime Somers residents Joe and Linda Tesone, who created a rustic and sophisticated atmosphere at their Seasons Restaurant on Route 100 in Somers, are now making way for their son Justin to make his mark.

They have closed down Seasons, which they opened in 2005, and after having listened to customers Justin Tesone will be bringing something new to the area. 

On Monday, the man opened The Burger Barn at the same location following a number of renovations. 

"We will share our menu featuring American comfort food and multiple draft/craft beers," owner Justin Tesone wrote in an update. "We look forward to seeing you soon."

The Burger Barn will offer lower priced items and feature homemade appetizers, as well as specialty burgers and sandwiches. 

"Justin has planned this incredibly well," his father Joe Tesone said. "I have full faith this is going to be a great place to be."

Tesone said his son has a passion for the business and described him to be a man who is highly capable and innovative.  

The menu at The Burger Barn will focus on creating what Justine Tesone says would be a "fantastic" burger. He has also created names for each sandwich and burger customers will order. Although he would not divulge what any of those would be, he said the names will be creative and funny.

"The whole thematic of the restaurant is for people to come and whole a whole different experience from anything else in town," Tesone said. "If I can put someone in a good mood from reading the names of our sandwiches and burgers, then I think we are off to a good start."
