Wells Middle School Presents: FAME! The Musical
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday
Where: Wells Middle School at 570 Route 312 in Southeast
Why go? This musical tells a "bittersweet but inspiring story" that takes place in the 1980s at New York City's High School for the Performing Arts. The students are up against "grueling" artistic and academic challenges, and the themes cover a wide range of topics: prejudice, identity, self-worth and more. Dozens of students are involved in the production.
