Voting In The June Primary: Putnam Board Of Elections

The June primary affects all Putnam County members of the Working Families Party and Republican voters in the town of Patterson.

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — The June 25 Primary Election affects all Putnam County members of the Working Families Party and the Republican voters in the town of Patterson.

The early voting period will be June 15-23 and the location will be the Putnam County Board of Elections, 25 Old Route 6, Carmel NY 10512.

  • Saturday, June 15, 2024: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Sunday, June 16, 2024: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Monday, June 17, 2024: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Tuesday, June 18, 2024: Noon to 8 pm
  • Wednesday, June 19, 2024: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Thursday, June 20, 2024: Noon to 8 pm
  • Friday, June 21, 2024: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday, June 22, 2024: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Sunday, June 23, 2024: 9 am to 5 pm

If you choose to vote on June 25, the location of your polling place, if you are an enrolled member of the Working Families Party and you reside in Carmel, Kent, Philipstown, Putnam Valley, or Southeast, will be at the Putnam County Board of Elections, 25 Old Route 6, Carmel.

If you are an enrolled member of the Republican Party or Working Families Party and you reside in the Town of Patterson, your polling place has not changed.

The Republicans in Patterson also have contests for GOP committee members in Election District 1 and 6. They will be on the ballot.

The early voting process is the same as on Primary/Election Day. When you arrive at the early voting location, you will sign the electronic poll book, mark your ballot, and cast it on the voting machine. The early voting polling location will have sample ballots available if you would like to review the ballot before you vote. You may ask an election inspector for assistance if necessary.

Requesting a ballot is still an option if you are out of Putnam County on Election Day or if you are permanently or temporarily disabled.

An application must be received by a board of elections no later than June 15.
