• Man Killed, Son Seriously Injured In Huntington Station House Fire: Police (patch.com) — An 82-year-old man died and his adult son was left in serious condition after a late-night house fire in Huntington Station, with the son transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital for further treatment. Multiple fire departments battled the blaze, and Suffolk County police say the cause does not appear criminal, though homicide and arson detectives are still investigating. Residents may see ongoing police and fire activity as the probe continues.
