Bill De Blasio To Hold Town Hall In South Slope

It's open to residents of Sunset Park, South Slope and Red Hook.

SOUTH SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Mayor Bill de Blasio will hold a town hall next week at a school in the South Slope with other area elected officials.

The town hall is open to any residents of District 38, which includes Sunset Park, the South Slope and Red Hook. Carlos Menchaca, who represents the area on the city council, will be in attendance.

The event will be held at M.S. 88 Peter Rouget, on Seventh Avenue and 18th Street, and is scheduled to get under way at 8 p.m.

Audience members will get to ask questions of the mayor and other officials on hand.

"Projects, policies and initiatives affecting the district will be announced," Menchaca's office said. "Attendees will be asked to participate in an extended question and answer session with the Mayor and his senior administration officials."
