Hunt On For Sunset Park Man Who Chopped Off Wife's Arm: NYPD
Police identified the man as Yong Lu, 35, whose accused of chopping off his wife's arm and two fingers inside their home on Thursday.

SUNSET PARK, NY — Police are searching for a man who cut off his wife's arm and two fingers inside their Sunset Park home on Thursday afternoon.
Yong Lu, 35, has been on the lam since he attacked his 35-year-old wife with a knife inside their apartment near 55th Street and Fifth Avenue, the NYPD said.
Lu started to attack his wife, who the New York Daily News reported is pregnant, at about 12:19 p.m. and severed her right arm from below the bicep, police said. He cut off two fingers from her left then fled the scene before officers arrived.

The woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital where she's in critical but stable condition, police said. The New York Post reported that surgeons were able to reattach her arm on Friday.
Police described Lu as about 5-feet 8-inches tall and 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
