Man Punched In The Head And Robbed In Sunset Park: NYPD
The man was walking along Third Avenue in Sunset Park when two robbers began demanding his personal property, police said.

SUNSET PARK, NY — A man was punched in the face and robbed while walking in Sunset Park, police said on Monday.
At around 4:30 a.m. on July 27, a 46-year-old man was walking along Third Avenue in front of 5502 Third Avenue when two robbers approached from behind and demanded his personal belongings, according to police.
The two robbers then took turns punching the man in the head and face, knocking him to the ground, before grabbing his belongings and running away, police said.

Despite sustaining a laceration on his face, the victim declined medical attention at the scene, police said.
The NYPD is searching for two men in connection with the robbery. Both suspects are described as having medium builds.

The first suspect was last seen wearing an orange shirt with white lettering, blue jeans, white sneakers and a blue-and-red baseball hat. He was also carrying a dark backpack.
The second suspect was last seen in black shorts with red stripes, red sneakers, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black hat.
Currently, there are no available media images of this second individual.
