Police Searching for Missing 89-Year-Old Sunset Park Man

Koon Tung Hee was last seen leaving an Eighth Avenue supermarket on Sunday afternoon, police said.

SUNSET PARK, NY — Police are searching for an 89-year-old Sunset Park man who went missing on Father's Day.

Koon Tung Hee, 89, who lives on Seventh Avenue, was reported missing this week after he was last spotted at a nearby supermarket over the weekend, the NYPD said.

On Sunday, Tung Hee was last seen leaving the Fei Long Supermarket, at 6301 Eighth Ave., at about 3:07 p.m. then walking southbound on Eighth Avenue towards 65th Street, police said.

Police described Tung Hee as about 5-feet 2-inches tall, 110 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light-colored baseball hat, dark colored shirt, gray sweatpants, white socks and black dress shoes.
