Sunset Park Named One Of The 'Coolest' Neighborhoods In America
Sunset Park gets some more national recognition.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Sunset Park was recognized yet again for being one of the "coolest" places to live.
This time, the accolades came from a new study by the real estate website HotSpot Rentals. The website named Sunset Park the No. 5 "coolest neighborhood in America."
HotSpot scored nabes nationwide on a number of factors ranging from weather to entertainment options to transit (HotSpot clearly hasn't been paying attention to the MTA).

Sunset Park earned an 84, placing it at No. 5 on the nationwide list, just behind Capitol Hill in Seattle and ahead of the Pearl District in Portland.
It wasn't even the top Brooklyn 'hood to make the list, though, as Bushwick checked in at No. 2. The Mission in San Francisco took home the top spot.

Sunset Park scored highly on walkability, budget, entertainment and transit (again, WTF?). But it received less-than-stellar marks for weather and lifestyle.
Earlier this year, Lonely Planet called Sunset Park one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world.
