Theater Arts Class for age 9-12 and TeenJoin us this week for our new session of Theater Arts Classes.Classes meet on Thursdays at 4:30 for age 9-12 and 5:30 for Teens. Classes will cover audition skills, acting, vocal technique, improvisation, stage craft, scene study, stage movement and more. In-studio performance at the conclusion of the session. Opportunity to prepare for Huntington Center's 20th anniversary performance in June at Landmark on Main Street's Jeanne Rimsky Theater. Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. The Children’s Orchestra Society

Our Mission The Children's Orchestra Society, founded in 1962 by Dr. H.T. Ma, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to "teaching the language of music" to children and teens. Our mission is to cultivate and nurture children and teach them teamwork and life skills through music-learning and performing in orchestral and chamber music settings. Members of COS receive excellent training in classical music and opportunities to perform in concerts with their peers as well as with well-established musicians. A Child Centered Approach This is the core belief of Director Dr. Yeou-Cheng Ma and Music Director Michael Dadap, who have led the Children's Orchestra Society since 1984.
