SYOSSET, NY — The dozens of new jobs that Amazon promised at its new warehouse facility in Syosset may not be coming after all.

According to Newsday, the online retailer is planning to close its facility in Bethpage and move the workers to the new, larger Syosset facility.

Amazon and Steel Equities, the developer of the Syosset site, pledged to create 150 new jobs at the facility as part of a deal with the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency that netted them $11 million in tax breaks over 15 years.
