New Health-Focused Restaurant To Come To Woodbury This Winter
Founder, CEO, and Former D1 collegiate cheerleader said healthy foods should be accessible to people.

WOODBURY, NY — Woodbury can expect a new fast-casual restaurant this winter– Toastique. The toast, juice and coffee bar will have a health-focused menu with superfood bowls and smoothies, cold-pressed juices, coffee, and more.
This will be the third location in New York and will be managed by Northport residents and husband-and-wife team Chris and Andrea Pedersen.
The duo brings nearly 20 years of franchising experience and said they are looking forward to connecting with the community. They are targeting the store opening toward the end of January.

"We love Long Island and wanted to bring a concept that feels new, energizing, and healthy to the area," she said. "And opening this location together felt like the natural next step in our journey as both business and life partners."

Andrea said the most rewarding part of being an entrepreneur is having the chance to build something that reflects their values and becomes part of people's everyday lives.

She added: "And on a personal level, building a business that our own children will be part of, makes this journey even more meaningful. After so many years helping other franchises grow, finally bringing our combined experience to our own local business will be incredibly fulfilling."
Andrea said there have been some challenges with the opening, as many new businesses experience.
"The biggest was securing a parking variance, which pushed our timeline back more than six months because of the hearings and approvals involved," she said. "It wasn’t an easy wait, but our landlords were very supportive throughout. With their help, we kept everything moving and are now really looking forward to finally bringing Toastique to Long Island."
Founder and CEO of Toastique Brianna Keefe said they ultimately chose the Woodbury location because of Chris and Andrea, saying, "they both understand how to build something that truly serves people."
Keefe said the couple's passion for franchising and experience in the industry helped make the decision an easy one.
"When we paired their expertise with what we saw in Woodbury, a vibrant, family-oriented community that values health, wellness, and quality, the decision felt natural," she said. "Our hope is that Toastique becomes a go-to neighborhood spot, whether it’s for a nourishing breakfast, a quick lunch, or a place to gather with friends and family."
Keefe founded Toastique in 2018, and as a former D1 collegiate cheerleader, healthy eating has always been important to her. She wants to make finding healthy foods more approachable and accessible to people.

"The most rewarding part of being an entrepreneur is seeing an idea turn into something real, something that impacts people’s lives in a positive way," she added.
Before describing how the brand came to life, she explained the inspiration behind her vision.
"Toastique was born from my passion for wellness, clean eating, and the belief that nutritious food should be both delicious and accessible," she said. "I started the brand during a time when I was searching for quick, wholesome options that didn’t compromise on quality or creativity, and I realized there was a real gap in the market."
Keefe said she wanted to create a space where people could fuel their day with food that made them feel good about what they were putting in their bodies.
"That vision is what inspired me to develop Toastique from the ground up: a place that celebrates balance, connection, and the idea that healthy eating can be exciting, inspiring, and delicious," she said.
Toastique will be located in Woodbury at 8027 Jericho Turnpike.
