Jericho Man Arrested For Vape Pen, Cannabis Possession: PD

The man was arrested after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Northern State Parkway on Wednesday night, State Police say.

A Jericho man involved in a crash on Northern State Parkway was arrested for possessing several vape pens and a quantity concentrated cannabis on Wednesday night, State Police say.

Authorities responded to a single-car crash on eastbound Northern State Parkway, west of Exit 26, at 11:13 p.m. Following an investigation, police say the driver, 27-year-old Jericho resident Jordan P. Soloman, was found to be in possession of eight vapor pens containing concentrated cannabis oil, 60 grams of marijuana and 102 grams of concentrated cannabis.

Soloman was arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

He will be arraigned in Nassau County First District Court on Thursday.
