LI Restaurants Team Up To Help Pizzeria In Need
Phil's Pizza and Restaurant in Syosset hosted the fundraiser this week, donating money to Hi-Class Pizza in Bellerose.
SYOSSET, NY — When Dominick Onesta, owner of Hi-Class Pizza in Bellerose, volunteered to help cook at a charity event, he didn't realize that he was the recipient.
Anthony Laurino, owner of Phil's Pizza and Restaurant in Syosset, hosted a charity fundraiser this week, News 12 reported. Laurino was selling hundreds of meals, with all of the proceeds going to help a local business. That business, it turns out, was Onesta's restaurant.
Other Long Island eateries donated food to the cause as well.
