Boater in Distress Gets Fire Boat Assistance
A kayaker and his son got rescued by the Sleepy Hollow fire boat.
County Fire Control requested village fire boats Marine 5 and Marine 7 for assistance to a boat in distress off Kingsland Point Park on April 14 at 8:04 p.m.
According to Sleepy Hollow police, a father and son were rescued from a two-person kayak that had a broken rudder.
