Follow the progress of the hatchlings and the rest of the falcon family via the bridge's 24/7 webcam.

TARRYTOWN, NY — And then there were three.
Since Monday's news of the first peregrine falcon egg hatching, two more chicks have emerged in the nest box high above the Hudson River on the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.
A spokesperson for the Thruway Authority posted the birth announcements of the chicks — or eyases, as they are called — on Twitter Tuesday morning.

That leaves one egg still to hatch, if it is viable.
The female falcon laid two eggs March 22. Two days later, on March 24, another egg appeared. Sometime over the March 26-27 weekend, the fourth egg was laid.

While peregrine falcons can lay up to five eggs, according to experts, it typically takes a month for them to hatch.
The public can watch their progress via the webcam installed in the box to document the falcons' lives.
Please bear in mind that the falcons are wild animals and the way they act reflects what happens in nature. Some of their actions may be unpleasant to watch, officials said, and some of the fledglings may not survive.
