Dead Deer Found at Cemetery Gates

The deer appeared to have been eaten, police said.

The Sleepy Hollow Cemetery sees its share of death, but not usually like this.

On March 31 at 11:42 a.m., a caller reported to Sleepy Hollow police that a dead deer was in the cemetery near the main gate entrance.

An officer found the deer carcus and said the deer appeared to have died from natural causes and then been eaten by wildlife.
