FASNY Convention Ends With Parade In Tarrytown
The parade will include 45 fire departments from across the state, antique fire vehicles and local and statewide dignitaries.
TARRYTOWN, NY — A parade will bring the 150th annual convention for the Firefighters Association for the State of New York which was held in Tarrytown.
The parade will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on Broadway/Route 9.
It will include 45 fire departments from across the state, antique fire vehicles and local and statewide dignitaries.

Route 9 from 303 Broadway to Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Main Street to the waterfront, the H-Bridge and Green Street will also be closed to traffic during the same time period.
There will be no parking on Main Street and on Broadway between Main and Benedict between noon and 6 p.m.

No parking will be allowed in Lots C, F and G (on the west side of the train station) for the entirety of Saturday.

Village officials said, if you are planning to attend the parade, try to take public transportation or walk to the parade site. If you need to drive, park and find your spot well in advance.
