Whether you're in search of something fun to do with the kids or you have a babysitter and are planning a night out, look no further because Patch editors have picked a variety of events taking place to help you make the most of your weekend. Click on the headline for more information of each event that's listed alphabetically by town. But first, let's start with a special tag sale in Tarrytown.

Tarrytown: Help Save a Life – a Tag Sale Fundraiser 

Where: Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns, 42 N Broadway, Tarrytown

When: Saturday, April 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Description: Tarrytown’s EFIA international language students have gathered in support of a Russian child with leukemia whose parents cannot afford the surgery that might save his life. This special fundraiser will feature international food, music and items up for sale including clothing, books, accessories and more. The students are also accepting donated items leading up to the sale, which can be dropped off on the second floor of the church within their business hours.

Bedford: The Pound Ridge Theatre Company Presents 'Doubt: A Parable'

Where: Conant Hall, 257 Westchester Ave in Pound Ridge

When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday 

Cost: $24

Description: Organizers describe this production as a "powerful and disturbing tale of a conflict of wills" between a Catholic school priest who supports progressive thought and the principal, who suspects the former has been abusing a student. Attendees are encouraged to bring food and drink to enjoy before the show begins.

Hastings-on-Hudson: Village-Wide Tag Sale

When: Saturday, April 13th 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Description:  The Hastings-on-Hudson Recreation Department is holding a village-wide tag sales, where various homes throughout the village will have garage sales.

Mount Kisco: Northern Westchester Hospital Teddy Bear Clinic

Where: Northern Westchester Hospital, 400 E Main Street in Mount Kisco

When: 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday

Cost: Free

Description: This event is a great opportunity to introduce youngsters to doctors and the hospital, and create a happy memory in case they ever have to visit during an emergency. Little ones—who are encouraged to bring along a stuffed friend to play the patient role—will learn about medical treatments and healthy practices.

Peekskill: Embark's Hosts the Spring into Laughter Stand Up Comedy Show

Where: Energy Movement Center, 925 South St. in  Peekskill

When: Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Cost: $20

Description: Embark's Second Saturday Series is hosting The Original Brothers Production of "Spring into Laughter Comedy Show," featuring Mike Troy, aka 'Brooklyn Mike'; Phil Selman; and Hamburger Alonzo Jones. The show is hosted by Freddie Ricks. There will be two shows at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.  Doors open at 7 pm & 9 pm. White Plains: The Importance of Being Earnest

Where: White Plains Performing Arts Center

When: April 13, 14

Description: Having just re-read Oscar Wilde's masterpiece, I can say without doubt that this is one of the funniest plays ever. We're talking about people who take their diaries with them so they have something exciting to read on the train. It's about manners, society, humbug and relationships between the sexes.

Cost: $35 for adults, $25 for high school and younger
