Low-Flying Helicopter Causes Curiosity
A resident called Sleepy Hollow police about a dark blue helicopter flying low around the area of the Philipse Manor train station. This isn't the first mysterious helicopter to fly here.
Ever notice a pattern of low-flying helicopters around our neck of the Hudson?
A recent mystery-helicopter is shown here in this video, dipping down low over the GM lot, turning back upriver and circling back and again and again one recent afternoon. Both Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow police said at the time that they were unaware of any helicopter or any county police activity at the time.
One resident on Patch's Facebook page speculated that it must be some Rockefellers.

In a more recent blotter entry from the evening of April 6, someone called police when they saw a dark blue helicopter flying low in the area of Philips Manor train station and its surroundings.
Officers reported the helicopter was not from the Westchester County Police. A Sleepy Hollow officer spoke with Pete Goodwin, FAA operations manager for Tracon, who monitors the air space in Westchester.
