Mobile Shredder Coming To Tarrytown
Residents may bring up to four file-size boxes of confidential papers per household for shredding.
TARRYTOWN, NY — A mobile shredder is coming to Tarrytown Saturday so residents can get rid of old papers.
Village officials said the shredder will be located at the Green Street Parking Lot from 10 am. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Residents may bring up to four file-size boxes — 10 inches x 12 inches x 15 inches — of confidential papers per household for shredding. All binder clips and covers must be removed. Papers from businesses or institutions will not be accepted, as will any junk mail or newspapers.

This event is first-come-first-served and people should be aware the shredder can reach its maximum capacity before the planned closing time.
Organizers said this is a popular service, and residents should be prepared to wait because the lines are sometimes long.
