Police: Cast Iron Sink Stolen
A homeowner reported to Tarrytown Police that his double basin cast iron sink had been taken from the side of his house.
A homeowner came to Tarrytown police headquarters to report the theft of a cast iron double-basin sink from the side of his North Washington Street house.
The owner stated that sometime between March 28 at 7 p.m. and March 30 at 2 p.m., an unknown person (or persons, considering the weight of this) stole the sink from a house currently under construction.
The owner said the value of the sink was about $1,000, for which police filed a petty larceny case.
