Police: Crimes Against Village of Tarrytown
Tarrytown Police investigate two separate grand larceny cases with the Village the victim.

Tarrytown Village Treasurer Jim Hart reported a case of check fraud to the police, involving someone illegally cashing three village checks.
On the morning of April 9, Hart claimed that three village checks had been fraudulently cashed at a Chase Bank on Long Island.
Police are investigating it as a grand larceny case as the total exceeds $1,000.

In another incident, a representative from ELQ Instrustries, contracted with work on Pierson Park, reported to police that his construction lock box had been broken into and stolen from.
The ELQ employee made the complaint early on the morning of April 15. Police filed a grand larceny case as well since the items stolen from the Pierson Park lockbox allegedly exceed $1,000 in value.
