Police: Walgreens Dispute Ends in Injury
A woman was arrested after allegedly injuring an elderly employee by throwing items at her.

Several callers reported to Tarrytown police on April 17 at 3:22 p.m. that a woman was being disorderly in the Walgreens store.
Officers report arresting Linda L. Samuel, 61, there for:
- disorderly conduct,
- obstruction governmental administration in the second,
- and resisting arrest.
While filing a banned person form for her, police discovered that an elderly woman who works at the store suffered injuries when Samuel had allegedly been throwing items off the counter at her.

The employee was taken to headquarters for a statement and photos, where the defendant was further charged with
- third degree assault.
The employee refused any medical attention.

Judge Kyle McGovern was notified for arraignment as the police were working on retrieving security video footage from the store to place into evidence.
Samuel was arraigned by the judge with bail set at $500 cash, which she posted. She was issued a court date and a order of protection.
