The second annual Rivertown Road Rally is coming through Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown on April 27 to benefit the Elizabeth Mascia Child Care Center.

It’s not too late to form a team and join in on this unique scavenger hunt by car. Teams, up to four people per vehicle, set off starting at 4:30 p.m. that Saturday and follow clues leading them to different points in the villages, ending at last with a buffet dinner, music and cash bar.

The child care center recently lost its beloved founder and namesake, at the age of 91.

Her son Fred Mascia, on the board of the directors of the Burncare Everywhere Foundation, thanked the crowd at the Burncare annual dinner for a grant that supports fire safety and prevention programs at the center. He was joined by his sister, Melissa Verdi, president of the center.
