Tarrytown Man is Blue-Bagging Your Dog Poop

Waging a one-man campaign against some mysterious neighbor(s) who aren't cleaning up after their dog, Tarrytown's Craig Allan is making this vivid statement.

Tarrytown's Craig Allan keeps coming across dog feces in his Wilson Park neighborhood and he's tired of it.

"I hope to catch the lazy individuals," Allan told Patch. "I strongly suspect there is more than one dog owner at fault and once one person stops picking up others do not feel obliged to. The amount of fog feces along Warren Avenue, Wilson Park Drive and in Wilson Park is really disappointing."

Filing complaints with the police department doesn't do much with no witnesses, so Allan has recently taken a unique tactic. He blue-bagged the feces he found along the roadway, leaving it there for people to notice and perhaps shaming the culprits in the process. He's also posted this photo on Facebook, which is stirring conversation among many who are unhappy with their own poop-littered walkways.

"It's interesting that a lot of people have issue with this, and many have considered camera surveillance," Allan said.
