Valhalla Man Brandished Weapon At Another Car While Driving: NYSP
Troopers initially received a complaint about menacing involving two drivers traveling north on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh.
GREENBURGH, NY — A Valhalla man was accused of brandishing a firearm at another car while both vehicles were being driven.
The New York State Police said, on Tuesday, troopers from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Richard Zimmer, 30, of Valhalla, and charged him with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.
Police said, on May 11, troopers received a complaint about menacing involving two drivers traveling north on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh.

It was reported that the victim overtook Zimmer’s car and began driving in front of it, and the investigation found that resulted in Zimmer pulling his car alongside the other person’s and brandishing a firearm, police said.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident, according to authorities.

Zimmer surrendered himself to the state police and was arraigned in the Town of Greenburgh Court.
He is scheduled to reappear in court Aug. 1.
